Launch Event of Ashmoret Literary Journal

Ashmoret, a journal of Jewish-Israeli fiction, was launched at a special event held at the “Tmol Shilshom” café-bookstore in Jerusalem.

In the summer of 2008, a festive evening at the “Tmol Shilshom” café-bookstore in Jerusalem marked the launch of the first issue of Ashmoret, a literary journal dedicated to Jewish-Israeli fiction.

The event featured readings by Moshe Meir, Yochai Sorek, Yaakov Z. Meir, Ori Alon, Sivan Har-Shefi, and Hila Arazi Hatav, alongside a conversation moderated by Sarah Segal. Music by Nadav Berman Shifman accompanied the evening, which celebrated the exciting debut of a new voice in the literary landscape.
