Impediments in the Temple

To part from the longing

To clear impediments in the temple,

Peel the backdrop,

Be intimate with greatness, speak secrets aloud,

To wash spoons up.

To clean the nets of flax,

Gather darkening clouds,

And breathe the whole houseful of white.

To part from the longing,

To ease the lungs.

To sweeten and be ruled by the grace of afterward.
