This site tells of what I write, study, teach, and do—yet none of it could have been brought here by me alone. The core work—writing, editing, translation, image selection, content design, and integration—was carried out by my own hands.
What may appear as the technical act of building a personal website is, in truth, the outcome of a life’s journey. It is the fruit of sustained labor in thought, creativity, and careful stewardship, woven together in fellowship, in conversation, and in listening. Along the way, good people, foundations, communities, and organizations have offered counsel, accompaniment, and support. For all this, I give thanks—for the world in which I feel at home, shaharit ve-arvit (morning and evening), and for the women and men who have walked this path beside me.
Deep gratitude goes to my family, to close friends, and to colleagues from many fields—for their listening, trust, and faith, and for their willingness to share with me the fertile tension between dream and reality.
Alongside my love of text and textile, of the nuances of language and design, I am also engaged in the technical work behind the scenes of building and maintaining websites. To me, this site is both a Beit Midrash and a workshop— the fruit of much personal effort, shaped through partnership, reflection, and creative labor.
It brings together many strands: writing, research, and editing, alongside technical, design, and structural work. I have woven together the writing, graphic design, and the planning of the site—from its foundation through to the user experience. At the same time, I found it important to collaborate with professionals whose expertise enriched the outcome.

The first launch of my personal website took place in 2016, under the name “Rokemet Machshavot” (Weaving Thoughts)—a phrase that expressed the interplay of my work and my love for both text and textile. It was then that I first encountered WordPress and quickly learned to master it, with the guidance of Maayan Alexander. That experience eventually led to the founding of Gluya Magazine, and, finally, to returning to this site for an extensive process of renewal and redesign, bringing it to its present form.
My heartfelt gratitude to Naama Shaked for her poem, which has walked beside me—with steadfast devotion in study, with laboring spirit in writing, and with prayerful breath in the shaping and bringing forth of new initiatives:
